Since it's now Fall now in Seattle, we're beginning to see cooler temperatures and wetter weather. But at the same time, we've had some brilliant afternoons, when the fog and clouds have burned off and the skies open up to a deep blue that contrasts beautifully against the reds and yellows dotting the landscape. Who wouldn't want to go for a walk here on an afternoon like that?
On our recent walk through Washington Park Arboretum, I just couldn't capture enough images of this staircase. I love the way it weaves and winds, works its way through the woods, and opens at the top to a landing at a beautifully large tree.
Enjoy your weekend!
