Wintery

So this post won't give you any images of snowfall nor will it talk about frigid temperatures and the need for lots and lots of down. Instead, I wanted to share with you a little snapshot of what I see every day when I come home to winter here in California: citrus. Mandarins are in season now, and I've been eating about a half dozen each day. Seriously. But I'm pretty sure this is a small kumquat tree at our house with little yellow treasures mixed in with vibrant green leaves. I love the way it contrasts against the white exterior of the home and finally put it on digital film.
