Despite the weather for this year's
Thrill the World event in Chico, children and adults turned out to the Chico City Plaza to be decorated in face paint, share their costumes and zombie attitudes with others, and dance in unison with hundreds of other locals. Though the rain meant seeking shelter and some second coats of makeup, it made for fun scenes with zombies hiding under umbrellas.
Others, like this young lady, simply strolled across the plaza, gazing into my camera lens, posing the entire way regardless of the added moisture.
And I loved this woman, fully done up but resting under a column before the big dance started.
