While I love the landscape photos of the tulip fields I posted about previously, I also loved getting close to these flowers, exploring the vibrance of their color, and marveling at the curious and diverse shapes of the tulips. For some reason, as I stared at the buds below carefully standing in a row, I was oddly reminded of Pink Floyd's "Painted Ladies."
And I loved how this tulip appeared to be slowly revealing itself, almost the way the petals of an iris slowly melt away.
