Eric Lovelin Photography: Unconditional Love?

Sometimes you just have to love something because no one else can, or will. You put aside whatever misgivings you have about hygiene, beauty, and behavioral trends, and you care. Such is the case with Nancy and Lulu. Despite some of her less redeeming qualities, Nancy cares for Lulu and gives her daily love and affection, often when no one else is up to the task. And Lulu returns the love, with hind-leg dances, an odd yelp-bark-cry vocal greeting, and energy unmatched at any other time of the day. They have a special, loving relationship.

This was evident at the recent Dog Birthday Party we attended. As at a cotillion ball (think The O.C. and the presentation of daughters to society), Nancy offered up her own little débutante to those present, with all the glitz and glamour that comes with a hand-embroidered martini glass on a doggie tank top.
