Sweet Rings

I've lived in onion country. And there's nothing better than buying a big bag of fresh sweet onions from the farmers market in Walla Walla - grill them, eat them raw, top a salad, or batter the rings, fry, and enjoy! I am longing to return to Walla Walla to taste these delicious onions. Seeing some large, fresh onions from the ground in Chico this past weekend began my reminiscing. I captured these onion offerings on a table at the farmers market.
