We love to walk along the Kirkland waterfront. Numerous parks, great people watching, and an opportunity to take in some of Seattle's best views across Lake Washington toward downtown. If you haven't stopped by this area of the eastside of Seattle, you're missing out. Perhaps start at
Marsh Park (captured below at sunset) or even at
Carillon Point, home to the Woodmark Hotel, a gastropub, bistro, and bar, and great dock at which you can arrive by boat for a delicious meal or relaxing glass of wine.
In Spring, Carillon Point also hosts gorgeous magnolia blossoms and unparalleled views of the sun setting behind the Olympic Mountains across Lake Washington.
