Caution: Flying Fish

If you've never been to Pike Place Market in Seattle, surely you have an idea of some of the offerings at the market. Maybe someone has told you about the inexpensive but beautiful flower arrangements available from vendors. Perhaps you've even seen footage of men throwing freshly-caught fish near the entrance to the market. But as I discovered--when my camera and my eye were on the hunt for red objects--there are many other fish offerings throughout the Pike Place Market besides the infamous stand at the entrance.

Ok, you're right. That's not a real fish. It's neon red. But here's what was hiding behind that stunningly red offering...

Pike Place Market is definitely a place to stroll, browse, meander. And with a camera in hand, you may discover more than you ever thought possible. I look forward to another trip soon!
